The Tia Travertine Pendant Lamp is three materials composing a single resolved object — a natural travertine disc, a white glass sphere, and a shallow wood disc, suspended on a long black cord. The travertine's characteristic surface texture and warm beige tones bring stone-quality materiality to the space below in a form that moves in three dimensions rather than sitting flat on a wall. Hung above a dining table or kitchen island, the 25 cm disc reads as a considered material decision at ceiling height. Each piece of travertine is different.
