Calora Wall Sconce
The Calora Wall Sconce is a single-bulb hardwired sconce with a handwoven natural rattan shade shaped into a six-petal scallop, suspended from a slim brass arm and a round brass-finished backplate. Two small ivory bead accents sit at the joint where the arm meets the backplate — a small detail that softens the metal-to-wall transition.
Available in two sizes — a smaller version for narrow hallways and bedside placements, and a larger version for taller walls and statement positions. Designed for ambient wall lighting in bedrooms, hallways, reading nooks, and relaxed living rooms with farmhouse, coastal, or organic-modern interiors.
The shade is open at the bottom and woven on the dome — that's why the light it throws looks different from a closed fixture.
Mounted as a pair flanking a bed, the small Calora rattan wall sconce for bedroom use replaces nightstand lamps and frees up surface space — its downward pool of warm light is bright enough to read by without lighting the whole room. In a hallway, a single small sconce at eye level provides ambient guidance lighting that's softer and more architectural than an overhead flush mount.
The large size suits taller walls — staircase landings, primary bedrooms with high ceilings, or as a decorative accent above a console table in an entryway. For dining rooms or living rooms styled in a coastal farmhouse or organic-modern direction, mount a pair on either side of a sideboard or fireplace to layer the room's lighting beyond a single overhead chandelier or pendant. Calora is not a replacement for task lighting in kitchens or workspaces — it's an ambient sconce, designed to set mood, not to flood a room.
